Step 1 Free Talk

What's the date today?
What's this ?

Step 2 Presentation
1、出示多媒体(Part B 图片)
1)I can't find Su Hai and Su Yang. Where are they?
Let students guess.
引出They are in their sitting room.
T: What's in their sitting room?
Let students say somethings
然后屏幕上出现CD Walkman
T: Look, What's this in English ?
Teach the new word CD Walkman
T: Where is the CD Walkman?
Ss: It's on the table.
T: Yes, it's on the table now.
教师操作,使CD Walkman 消失
T: Is it there now?
Ss:No, it isn't.
T: It isn't there now .
It was there a moment ago .(板书)
Teach : a moment ago , was
(理解a moment ago 的意思,说明was是is, am 的过去式)
2)Practice these sentences
T: Where's your eraser ?
S1:It's on the desk.
T:It isn't there now.(快速拿掉橡皮)
S1:It was there a moment ago.
Let Ss practise like this.
用同样的方法教其他单词 a mobile phone , a pair of glasses, a diary, a roll of film
3)Let Ss look ar the picture
T:What are they ?
Ss:They are earphones.
T:Where are they?
S:They are on the sofa.
操作多媒体,让earphones 消失
T: Are they on the sofa now?
S:No, they aren't.
T:Yes, they aren't there now .
They were there a moment ago.
Teach : were(说明 were 是are的过去式)
4) Practice these sentences
T:What are they?
S: They are pencils.
T: Where are the pencils?
S:They are on the pencil-box.
T: They aren’t there now.(快速拿掉铅笔)
S: They were there a moment ago.
Let Ss practice like this.
