二、教材解析
|
|
本课时主要学习的核心句型是：How
tall is it? It’s … How old are you? I’m … It’s/ I’m taller than …教材通过Mike和张鹏在博物馆里谈论恐龙的情景，让学生感知上述句型的语义及语用情景。在四年级上册第三单元学生学习了描述人或动物外貌的形容词，如：thin,
fat, tall, short, long, small, big, strong。学生在三年级上册第六单元也学习了How
old are you? 这个句型。

1. 能够正确、熟练地朗读对话，做到语调、重音地道自然。
2. 从角色扮演到创设情景，能运用所学句型How
tall are you? I’m … How old are you? I’m … I’m taller than …作比较。

重点：本课时重点在掌握四会句型并会运用这些句子对人物进行询问并进行比较。
难点：能在恰当的情境中使用含有形容词比较级的句型。

T: The children are in the museum. They are talking about the dinosaurs. Do
you know something about dinosaurs? Do they eat meat or vegetables? Yes. Some
eat meat and some eat vegetables.教师呈现恐龙图片，学生读题猜测答案。
2. 播放录音，学生听后选择正确答案。
3. 核对答案，呈现一高一矮两只恐龙的图片，并提问：Can
you guess which one is the second dinosaur? Yes, because this one is taller. 帮助学生理解taller的含义。

1. 课件呈现博物馆图片，引导学生用It’s
tall/strong …描述图中的恐龙，复习巩固已学形容词。
2. 请学生听课文录音，并回答文后问题。

教师请一名学生A站起来，询问全班：Who
is taller than me? 其他学生如果觉得自己比他高就站起来回应：I’m
taller than you. 如果学生B确实比学生A高，就由他代替学生A继续寻找比自己高的人。如果学生B比学生A矮，则由A继续询问，直到找到全班最高的人。对话示例如下：
